If you don't like long post, you better check out now ! We are a Honda two car family. We have a new Pilot and
2008 V-6 Accord that my wife bought new (her baby) she has always carried full coverage .I had some serious heart
conditions and am not released to drive,so her car ,pretty much sits behind our gate and I go out and crank it every
now and then. This last time it would barely crank, when it finally started it had check engine light,ABS indicator ,and
stability control light all stay on,also the temp guage immediately pegs out as Hot . I popped the hood and their were
twigs and half eaten pecan shells in the engine compartment. I opened the radiator and although the indicator was
pegged out ,it didn't blow out or have pressure. I figured I could drive it to Honda of Lewisville (auto nation )without
blowing up and have a tech look at it,they called a few hours later and said rodents had chewed through the electrical
harness and they were still checking other components but so far repairs were estimated at $2,500.00 on the brightside
he said the dealership might make us an offer as they were having difficulty acquiring trade-ins they also couldn't
get new cars there was only one Accord in the showroom. Anyways to make a long story even longer,my wife looked
over our insurance and discovered that repairs were covered under our comprehensive clause less $500.00 deductible.
Not a commercial but "like a good neighbor State Farm...... our plan is to get it repaired and either keep it or sell it .
Wife's call. bolt

If they did it once they will do it again, and it only takes a few hours. Time to start a poison protocol around where ever you park your cars.

I had squirrels/rats chew up [censored] on my 2500 diesel. Got it fixed but it never ran the same.

They ate into a wiring harness on my wifes car in our driveway. It was a harness to the front bumper "sensors" so we got an ABS code. $689 to fix it at the dealers.

I am battling those little bastages now. We are 1000' from the waterfront. I have fed them 6 lbs. so far of TomCat wax peanut poison blocks. 1 Dead one found so far. We have possums too (I can see them on the Ring and Blink cams). I think the possums are eating the wax poison blocks too and I think they love them. I bought a live trap at Tractor Supply two days ago. Baited it with peanut butter on a chocolate bar, cheese peanut butter crackers and so far NOTHING.

this stuff works and even smells alright, sorta minty to me.

I have a huge rodent problem being in the country, have to keep corn, attractants etc.

last winter rats or mice got under the big tractor and got some wires, luckily it was a cheap repair with 2 short harnesses replaced.

I spray it all over and have seen mice haul it out of the shop when it gets close to them, even got a few direct shots on one that looked like it wanted to die.

safe for pets etc. and lasts about 2 weeks in the shop before a respray is needed.

The New York City rats at the ranch eat those poison blocks like candy. I’ve caught several in the large glue traps and a couple in the large snap traps.

tomcat also has a bulk bag of the bait blocks, warfarin and it also works good but don't put it where the dogs/kids can get to it.

couple of blocks under the hood and where they may hide outside works good.

That’s the blocks I started with. They ate those and got bigger.

Good old tomcat, it kills. I was cleaning up a stack of firewood this summer that had fell over and there was a rat nest in it. Couple of them darted out and about. So, I went and bought a big bag of tomcat, think it was 24 chunks of bait. Put all of it out around and about, the day before we left for Michigan for a week. When I came back, I found dozens of rat skeletons, a dead chicken snake and obviously a skunk had died out back, but the buzzards had taken care of all of it but the stink. I also haven’t seen any squirrels this summer since, think I knocked out the local population of them as well.

kills em dead out here, every now and then I find the dried remains of a mouse. rats get it outside the shop since they can't get in unless a door is left open, they dead too after chowin down.

Rodent Sherriff works very well as a repellent. I'd poison first and then use this stuff on a regular basis.
