I'm looking at a used 2017 Nitro Z18 pretty soon. What are some things to look for that I may miss? Thank you guys.

Get a compression tester. Bring a plastic handled screwdriver.
Run compression test first, what you want is about the same numbers on all cylinders. 100,100,100,100 etc, what you DO NOT want to see is 100,80,100 walk away.
Use the handle of the screwdriver to gently tap around the motor mounts, fittings on transom, and three or feet from transom where the stringers run. You have to hear a nice clear TAP, what you don't want to hear is THUD, that's water intrusion. If you do, walk away.
Stomp around the decks and floor, look for soft spots.
After the test run, that's about it.

All wonderful advice. Another quick and easy thing is to pop the bottom drain screw on the lower quickly with a flathead to check for water intrusion or excessive metal on plug there. See how burnt the oil smells, how it was maintained. No need to drain lower, just a quick pop out of screw will tell you 90% of the health of a lower unit. With checking out the powerhead and the transom/core of a boat above with Pat's advice, you'll have checked out the 3 most expensive things to fix on the boat.

Be sure to always look for leinholders on the titles. Regardless if he says it's paid off or not.
