The Delta variant is definitely hitting people younger and healthier and it hits hard. I know several young people at the university that have been infected and it's done a lot of damage. It sucks. Stay safe.

I tested positive in November 2020...thought it was a false positive until I lost taste and smell and got really tired. I didn't want to get the shot but I'm type 1 diabetic and my doctor strongly encouraged me to get it. I got the shot and I'm glad that I did - I got COVID round two and it was less severe than the first time and only lasted a couple of days and just felt like a sinus infection. Everyone can make their own decision on taking the vaccine and it should always be a personal choice.

Well, one is 100% gonna happen, just depends on when. Nobody gets out alive.

I was a hold out on the shot until recently. I got my second shot Pfizer shot yesterday. Work told us to get the shot or get tested weekly if in front of customers. I made it this far with all the shots in the sixties as a kid, I can survive this one too I’d guess.

Seems to be the safe bet to get the shot if that a persons choice. Few weeks back I would not have agreed. I did a lot of reading on the subject, that’s what really changed my mind on the shot.

I held out for natural immunity. Glad it's finally here and we can look forward to the future. Still waiting on my buddy to recover. Even though it's kicking his arse he still said he prefers his body immunity over the political jab. His Dr...soon to be former Dr shined his colors 6 days ago to my buddy. Problem with living in liberalville. Glad I followed up on the regeneron post that was on here. Which led me to a local place. So thank you TFF in helping out.

I have no problem accepting death when it’s my time (of course I don’t have a choice)‼️ I’m hoping that time is in my early to mid 80’s unless I contract something that I have no control over. I controlled getting the vaccine if it will help me live longer. I found out about 15 years ago I have acute adult asthma. Covid doesn’t mix well with that so I made the decision to get the vaccine to boost my chances of fighting that chit. But my view since this whole intent of China to try to kill us all is “you do you and I’ll do me”. I’m not going to try to preach to anyone to get vaccinated or don’t get vaccinated. You do you and I’ll do me.

Get it or don't get it. It's still your choice. We got both shots in Jan. and Feb. I have something of a serious heart condition that is being controlled by a pacemaker, so that was my reason for getting the shots, and I'll get the booster, too.

Even with the shots you are still at risk. I have a good friend who had both shots, but he and his wife were in NM on a vacation a few months back and both came down with Covid after they got home. He and his wife (also had both shots) were staying at home, but after about 10 days he started to have serious breathing issues and was rushed to the ER. He also had developed pneumonia as a bonus. That was about 5 weeks ago and he's still there. Was moved to a Covid floor and was about a day away from the ICU and a vent according to his doctor. He made a great recovery and is doing a little better every day. May get to go home in a week or so if his breathing gets under control. His doc said that the shots probably kept him from getting on the vent earlier and may have saved his life.

It can be a tough go which ever choice you make!
