Hey everyone. Me and my brother are going camping mid October at broken bow. First time to that lake. I know it’s clear water. We’re going for Large mouth bass and small mouth. Any pointers on bait or location out there? Also is it stumpy like fork with lanes? Thanks for any info/help. Much appreciated!

If you go to Broken Bow and don't catch 20 by noon, then you might as well give up fishing for bass. Just fish your strength the fishing is that good. Top water early, just because it's fun, then wack them on worms and crank baits on the shady sides of the bluffs and coves. Enjoy your trip!

One of the most beautiful lakes I've ever been to. Wished I'd taken some of the rocks I saw but thought it might be against the law. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/10/full-76913-112893-nekvldy.jpg)

Look for schooling in coves, your best bet is to go north. But there should be action just about everywhere. My wife and I got into a big school a few years back on the lower end of the lake. Just dumb luck running into it and we caught sand bass, spots, and largemouth.
