There's a David Beard Catfish King in Livingston. To me it's garbage but I'm a food snob.

There's 3 that I know of in Waco, Tyler and Mt. Pleasant

There are still 2 of them in Longview. The one on the south side of town by I-20 is fair. It is menu order only.
The one the North side of town is bigger and it used to be an all you can eat buffet, but looking at their website it looks to be ordered strictly off of the menu now. It was almost as good as the original one up close to Lake O the Pines.

Man I remember my folks taking me to the one in Longview when I was a kid roughly 30 years ago. Seems like it was on the corner of Gilmer and 281....
