What's sad about this is that my son and I missed a photo op... We were fishing just off the spill way until the moron in the red boat and several of the other ski boats ran us off by running past us at full throttle within 30-50 feet...

We left the area around 3 or so after a large cruiser blasted right between our markers and nearly threw me overboard. I pray to god that justice was served and it was this moron that nearly threw me overboard.

Just wish I'd have listened to my son and stuck it out a little longer, I might have been able to sell a few pics to the news papers.

I guess I didn't see where he said that. Then he must have pulled him all around to the cut by the time I saw them towing it.

I talked to one of the people that raised the boat last night, yes, they hit the spillway. It belongs to a 23 yr old girl who let one of her friends drive the boat.

The boat isn't very nice. Maybe a third owner boat. Lots of scuffs, fadeing, pin stripeing was flaking off. I've seen alot of the same size boats on used lots and in the paper for 5-10k.

Some people sure know how to turn things from bad to worse. I am glad that Lewisville Lake did not claim another life (lives) They sure got lucky , good job to all the folks that helped out! And I surely agree, if you ever see anyone in that type of danger, or even stranded for that matter, you must render aid. Thats what we are out there to do is help each other and keep it as safe as we possibly can. It's amazing how this boat went from 80k to a beat up old 5k junker that a 23 y.o. chick owns. wow how these threads can change!

I've have just read this entire post and here's what I understand:

- A hooker was letting her pimp drive her $80K cabin cruiser
- then (while drinking mass quantaties of alcohol & doing drugs) jumps the damn and knocks off the engine and puts a 2 foot whole in the back of the boat while being shot at by some Feds in a Helicopter

Man, I usually stick to the Bass Fishing section, but you guys are a hoot!!!

I heard she sells Amway not Tupperware. Come on man, pyramid scheme baby.

I thought it was a 2' hole in the dam. And that was just the entrance wound. They hid inside the dam for a bit while the helicopters cruised around looking for them.

Once they realized the helicopters were gone, they cruised out of hole that they created in the dam, but the boat was already full of water and then they began to sink.

Before they sank, they threw overboard their 80k in cash. And a pimp tried to get his girl to swim in and get the money, but she was actually an undercover DEA agent. But seeing all of that money made her quit her job on the spot and now she's rich with a 23 year old alcohol problem.

I may have missed something though.

spiny, I dont care what anyone says, they did go over that old spillway. My sons and I saw the whole thing happen.
