What a great answer to my question lol. I like fishing period. Bait Or no bait doesn’t matter. Thank you for sharing your opinion on fishing in general on this thread though. SMH 🤦♂️

I have seen several boats catching shad in the shallow flats between East Burns Run boat ramp and the north end of the dam the past week. Using an underwater lamp very early before dawn. I don’t know if they were catching threads or gizzards.
Lund Tyee Magnum 1950, Optimax200, Honda 10 kicker, Lowrance HDS7, Cannon DigiTroll IV, Cannon Mag20, Big Jon side planers. Chasin' wipers & stripers.

We have been catching them in shallow water in the back of most coves. If you go before dark they are pretty easy to catch.
