Looking to install a step (ladder) on tongue of my Ranger R187 boat trailer to make getting up at launch ramp easier. Anyone have a recommendation for one ? I'm sure Ranger makes one but most likely pretty pricey.

I was looking to buy one but my co-angler (a retired welder) surprised me with this; ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/09/full-103204-112144-2846e81e_09fe_4937_b8f3_4ddaa544e83e.jpeg)

Trick Step...I have one on my RT188. Thanks Jim Sr. I actually had typo in my post. I have RT178. Do you by chance have any pictures of the Trick Step installed on your Ranger Trail ?

Thanks again for all the input. I decided to go with Trick Step. It arrived yesterday afternoon and I installed it today. Super easy install. Took about 15 min from opening box to testing it out. Wish I’d done this a long time ago.

I've got a Trick Step on my Phoenix, bought it almost 5 years ago for my old Phoenix. I modified it to fit a Skeeter center console, then put it on the new bird. Held up well and I am not tiny at 6'4 255.
