Anyone fish the sabine river for crappie?? Looking for some pointers. Not having much luck finding em!!

I never fished the Sabine for them but I did the Trinity over by Liberty. When the water was low and clear as it would get I caught some really good ones. I would target log jams and back eddies where there was a current break. Little creek cuts where the water was deep enough and not sanded in we’re great too. I’m sure the rivers being similar you would find them in the same type areas.
