That’s pretty harsh. Honestly.
I work for some second generation immigrants. Their parents went through the process to legal enter the states and are, thankfully, smart hard working and honest folks. Their decisions make it so easy for me to make a great income and live the life I want to live.

Where the folks from Haiti are messing up is trying to bum rush the boarder. They, sadly, feel like the chances they are taking are the better choice for them. I feel for them…I truly do, BUT…they need to apply for citizenship and follow the procedures…do it the right way. The Haitians past choices have allowed their country to become the mess that it is. I see no reason to change the US’s immigration protocols. The “wall”, either physical or metaphorical, is absolutely needed. The boarder needs to be 100% secure. I don’t think the tax payers should pay one more dollar than needed at this point. They should just push them all back to Mexico and fence it up. Tell em to take a number and get in line.

If Haiti is as bad as they say it is, Mexico should be sufficient enough to call it an improvement.
