2010 Ranger repowered with a 250SHO 2020 year model. Value go up are stay the same as the year model of the boat?

you will take a hit on the engine price but yes it will raise the value. being a sho makes it very saleable.

what really increases the value is motor warranty that a new motor brings to an older boat.

It does not increase the value dollar for dollar what you paid for the motor, but it most certainly increases value comparative to the value it had before you re-powered. That goes for private sale and trade in.

That goes for private sale and trade in. ^^^This^^^ Some people think because they spent $20k on a new motor that their boat is suddenly worth that much more.
