you could make this a whole lot easier if you just direct wire the tm with 24v.

as I said above, run new 4ga. to the front, jump the batteries from pos - neg and use the pos on one and neg on the other to breaker (always use a manual reset type so you can trip it to charge batteries).

unless you plan on removing and installing the tm somewhere else there is no need to have a plug up front. my force is direct wired this way with 36v.

I like having the plug. I don’t have a disconnect for my batteries so I put toggle switches on my graphs and I un plug my trolling motor just to remove the D/C when not in use. A disconnect does the same thing I just never installed one.

I always use a manual reset breaker so I can shut off power at the batteries while charging. graphs are all wired direct to the battery but being garmins they just snap in and out and are never left on the boat.
