Make sure you know what size you want because the one he has is HUGE!! You also might want to drill some vent holes in the sides to get some air flow thru there if you are going to mount your Fish finder on top. He didn`t but it can`t hurt. Just my opinion.[Linked Image]

His is the one on the bottom in these photos choose it if you are mounting a larger unit on top. Find them all at mtmcase-guard.com

I used 1/8” aluminum to reinforce the lid to help support my SV93. Yes you will need to beef up lid a little. Good luck with your build.

Mount the black box vertically on the outside. Airflow won’t be an issue that way. Just need a couple small holes for cable pass through.

Fishin' to stock Lake Crisco.

For dedicated battery that you don’t want getting wet along with excess cabling if you are mounting the display to the box.

I hear you Capt but i`d be more concerned about getting my High priced component dinged up on the outside of the box during transporting back & forth than keeping a battery from getting wet.But that`s just me. Accidents do happen sometimes andThere`s enough room in the box to house & protect everything for the most part. anyway Different Strokes different Folks. thumb

Good points from all. Confidence in what we do keeps us coming back for more . Life is a team sport, BTW, I have ordered an AGM marine battery for this set up and will test soon.

I built mine with an apache Waterproof box from harbor freight. It is smaller and very portable with its big handle. My intention was to use it on multiple boats or from a dock. Everything is held in place with industrial velcro. I can turn box upside down and shake and everything stays in its place. [Linked Image]

It took me all of 3 hours fishing with livescope to decide it is not for me. I don't and won't fish like that.
It has been sitting in my closet since January so if someone needs one pm me
