Not that I would ever actually do that because I'm sure it violates someone's rules, but I have always been a curious sort.
I have the Apple lightning to HDMI adapter and it works great on lots of stuff I can stream with my unlimited cellular data and watch on the TV screen. I only have 40 gigs of data per month on my phone plan but that is not enough to stream games for a month using WIFI if that is even an option on some paid package. So something like Kodi is not even an option for me at this point.
The Cowboys game had to be watched on my phone using Peacock. Yahoo sports with have the Chiefs game I can watch on my phone. It was better than the radio but I can't even make it show up on my laptop screen (not an iPad). I will have to do the same on the Browns and Chiefs game this afternoon. If anyone knows any tricks about how that could be done, please let me know. PM is fine too. Thanks!

God bless you, I was lost in your second sentence, wherever it was . . . .

and I'm technical, but in my defense, I'm retired from all that.

Carry on . . . . .

Were you referring to the lightning to HDMI adapter? Or my convoluted way of asking the question?

I can't make heads or tails of your original statement. I watched the Cowboys game on my TV, and all I have is an antenna in the attic. Hope that helps.

Sorry for the confusing post guys.
IT was not intentional.

I was trying to find a poor man's method of watching football besides on my phone screen.
I live out in the sticks of south Howard County TX.
We have One local over the air Digital TV station here that plays 20 year old reruns of Chicago PD, Blackish and some other carp I'm not interested in.
Or Telemundo, or one other channel I don't care for. None of which will come in good enough to even watch with my current amplified over-the-air antenna.

I sure might gamble the $ on a better taller antenna that might reach San Angelo if they have a station that broadcast cowboys games. It could be all the giant hugely tall wind generator towers that are in the way from the station in town bouncing the digital over the air signals around too much. I had good WIFI last year at a different location closer to town, but even then, NFL Sunday Ticket had most of the damn Cowboys games blacked out. If I had enough $ to spend each month, I'm positive I could get those games but I probably can't afford what it would take to do that out where I am now. I'm not giving up just yet though. Thank you big rebar for the reminder that a proper OTA antenna might still be an option for me.
