The weights for this should be insane. I was there 10 days ago and the sheer number of 4-5 pounders is incredible.

Gonna be in interesting battle between Wheeler, Ott and Ehrler. I think Ott will look everywhere for LM and Wheeler will be killing them on SM. Ehrler needs to take a look at his techniques to be competitive.. he takes too long to land fish then chooses to retie after almost every fish.

If Ott goes looking for largemouth he may as well not make the trip. Largemouth will not be competitive when you can catch 30-50 smallmouth a day and basically all will be over 3 pounds.

LOL.

Ehler has not had good finishes at St Clair in the 5 fish formats, I hope Ott can stop the Wheeler train.

I thought they weren't having a Redcrest expo, they just ran a commercial for it for next year, be interesting how it compares to the Classic one...

The LM will factor this year. Strader punched all day and Andy Morgan had big fish punching. Saw some guys catching LM offshore also.

Largemouth are going to play if the wind doesn't lay down, one thing about their trailering the will fish days when the Pro circuit or Elites would cancel.

I guess AOY is down to Ott and Wheeler, Ehler didn't make the cut.

That's why its called Fishing not Catching. Ott is fishing his strength and as long as he makes a top ten he wins AOY. Ballsy move in my book considering where they are but he is sticking to himself.. much respect to Mr. Defoe.
