What is going on with the crappie on fork ?
Are they on the bridges yet ? If they are what depth ?

I would appreciate any help you can give I am taking my Father in law out & I would like to do some catching if you know what I mean. Also he does not take the heat so well is why I was thinking about the bridges. fish

Fished the bridge a bit this morning with jigs seeing how we forgot a minnow bucket and caught about a dozen with 3 keepers. Wind was blowing too much to try and fish brush so we loaded up and went down the road to fish docks. First time to try that, most were too shallow for my liking but we caught several small crappie and a prolly 4-5 keepers, threw em back today got several bags in the freezer.

dark jigs worked best. grey/black/blue...

I fished the west 515 bridge this past weekend and kept around 15 or so... threw allot back. Using minnows about 20ft of water.. couple of reels up off the bottom.

I used a submersal light on Friday night.. sure did promote bites. Got tired of catching them. I have 4.5 acres just about .5 mile away from that public boat ramp. Sure be nice.

Wife and I fish all last week there, caught several large cats using minnows fishing for crappie. Darn one cat took my crappie pole all the way under the boat... it just kept going... I had to tire him in.

I live in Maypearl but plan on building soon out there
