We arrived at our destination about 1pm in the of the day. We launched and just started fishing along the bank and just worked our jigs back to us. We also fished big tree stumps and found crappie at the bottom next to stump. Also fish hydrilla beds and found sunfish and crappie and caught a rio on the edge of the hydrilla bed. We found some shade and tied off to take a break from the brutal 🌞. We fished along that edge we tied off to and caught crappie, catfish , and gasper gou. I think they were trying to get out of the sun too.

I like orange in the stained water too! Glad y'all caught a mess of fish in that crazy heat. It does seem to hold up that if you find some shade when its hot and sunny, especially in the dog days of summer, you'll find the fish! Y'all stay at 'em and keep putting up great footage, great fish and great jigs!!
