Hey all,

Looking for info. I’m researching possible places to stay for a large group this summer. Any ideas of kinda off the beaten path communities offering some good surf fishing and charters nearby? I have stayed in Galveston and loved it but for this larger group, we won’t have need of all the amenities of a highly commercialized community. Any suggestions?

I’ll check on that. Stayed at Surfside and loved it.

We take a large group to San Luis Pass every year. We get a house on the water that sleeps 12. Built out into the water a little bit so we can fish from the deck. Nothing commercial there, 25 miles into Galveston.
