I forgot the plug.

Back in the 90's my dad had just had an operation due to an ulcer. When they operated they ran into some other issues and removed a section of his intestines. Doc told him his food will run thru his system a little quicker. Well he had a lake house on the north end of Eagle Mountain Lake and between him and his neighbor they ran 4 trotlines year around.

Mom tells the story like this. He left out in the jon boat like he always does, and it takes him about 45 minutes to run those 4 trotlines, I looked up not 10 minutes later and here he comes, he doesn't even stop at the boat slip, just hauls up and beaches the boat on the bank. Mom knew something was wrong so she takes off down to see what's up, she meets him half way and she stops and asks what happened, he just walks by here and says you need to go clean the boat out.

Dad tells the story like this. I was out there on the first trotline and all of sudden it hit me. I had to [censored]. I stood up and dropped the trotline and dropped my britches and because it was a jon boat I knew I wouldn't be able to hang it over the side, so I just did it right there in the boat and came on back to the house to clean up.
