Had a chance to buy a Plymouth GTX with the 426 Hemi when I was 20 years old in 1983. Original car and all matching numbers. Decided I didn't want to have to buy that amount of gas to get around. Got any idea what an original factory MOPAR with the 426 Hemi is worth these days?

Got out of the army, could have bought 4 lakefront cottages on a South Dakota lake for 8 k apiece, said I would would look at it next year, they went for 90 a piece next year, I had the money too

Numerous ranch land deals here in Texas

Never wanted to touch the kids college money

Could have paid for 10 kids college educations vs 3

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

I would have bought every video console arcade game I could afford back in the mid eighties, they were in every grocery store, convenience store or game room. Some of those guys had to a fortune.

yesterday ended last night...be happy you have choices today

MERCY - not receiving what you deserve
GRACE - receiving what you don't deserve
America's MESS = God's miracle fixes
I'd rather walk with God with no questions answered than to walk thru life without Him and know the answers

Yep
I use to go to Carlton Sheets real estate seminars in the early eighties.
Could never get the wife to buy in.

Apple stock on IPO.

Keep looking forward. That’s why windshields are larger than rear view mirrors.

I would not approach it quite that way, I dont like debt and would never finance a rental property, I approach them as high yield savings accounts. I get why people do it but that's just not me....

Back when I was in my 20’s insurance adjusting, I spent a small fortune on hotels all over the country. I knew I should’ve bought a nice 5th wheel but just couldn’t pull the trigger. It was too easy just to roll in to some hotel and have access to everything.

Another during all that, I was out on Long Island 2011ish and went to a claim and nearly got talked into buying this guy’s Boston Whaler, like a 28’ outrage or something with twins, for like 7500, wasn’t new but was a pretty badass older boat. Guys house had flooded and they didn’t have flood insurance, much less a dollar to spend at this point. Instead of trying to get the water out, they’d just left and spent everything on a hotel...
