Picked up a marinated tri tip today and just put it on,I've never smoke one before and we'll see how it goes. Got it going at 250 degrees over B&B oak lump with pecan wood thrown in. I'm thinking about 130 to 140 IT for a good medium. I never go over 130 on a trip tip, it's best served on the rare side IMO.
if it is within my reach, I'm going to pet it.

I did a Picana and a tri tip yesterday, we ate the Picana, going to make philly cheese steak sammiches out of the tri tip, it has great flavor.
