GOOD MORNING BELTON BUNCH!]

I've always had bad luck with Norton, I quit trying to even use it about 8 years ago. I do use Zone Alarm, AVG, and Ad-Aware all of them have free versions that work just fine, and have only had one virus on any of my computers since I started using the internet in 1995. I also save most of my documents and pictures to CD's on a regular basis, and am thinking about upgrading to a DVD burner for the increased capicity of the storage.

There has been two inches of rain since 5:00PM yesterday here at the mound with a light rain still falling. I don't yet know what the river is doing, but I suspect that I might end up rained out today. Which would be a good thing if I could pull my Suburban into my Carport and work on the wheel bearings. Unfortunately I can't and I'm not going to pack bearings in the rain!

Try to stay dry everyone!

Mornin folks. It ain't lookin good. mad Levi's baseball tourney is cancelled for the weekend so the G clan may be headed south where it's dry and the ramps aren't flooded. With my luck there'll be a storm surge. grin

Anyone need a good all around hand?

You might have to go all the way to Del Rio and fish Amistad. If you do, say HI to a buddy of mine down there by the name of Tim Brown. He guides on the River and lake there. He's good people thumb

It's higher than it's been this spring and coming up an inch per hour. From what BA said about the river it's not gonna slow down anytime soon.

Well so much for fishin' Belton for a while. I doubt very seriously that Franks will be launchable. I launched there around 1st of June when it was just shy of 608 and the turnaround was borderline then. It's at least six inches higher now and rising rapidly, more'n likely the turnaround there is totally under water. Thinkin' on comin' and gettin' Clyde and keepin' him home for a while an' fish soma these lakes around here if they're launchable. Clyde's due for a good cleanin' and tightenin' up. Gonna check Craigslist for a used submarine. grin

The only good thing about all this rain is we can't get on the water, sooooo the fish have no pressure from us fisher people. That means BIGGER FISH when the lake is fishable again. banana The pay off may be worth the wait. What do ya'll think? noidea
