Any rods you guys have been impressed with? I know there are tons of options, just curious what guys are using. Looking to add another squarebill/medium diver rod so I can have a couple setups rigged up at a time.

Falcon Lowrider all around F. It is a 7’ medium heavy rod and has enough bend to keep hooks set. Also just the right amount of back bone for ripping through light grass. It can also double as a spinner bait rod or a chatter bait rod.

Good value for the price point.

Very hard to beat a Bass Pro Crankin' Stick. I also use a Megabass Tomahawk 7' and a Diawa Tatula Elite 7' glass rod but the Crankin' Stick is a bang-per-buck homerun.

I use a 7' MH for square bills.

Dobyns 704cb glass, especially if you mostly throw the 1.5's.

Recently did a video on my square bill rod set up. Basically it’s a 7’ M/H or H action fiberglass David Fritts Perfect Crankbait rod made by Lew’s. Its a great all around Crankbait rod and I want to say it’s around the $100 price point too. Here is a link to the video:

I throw squarebills over 50% of the time and I swear by the Dobyns DC704CB! However, I bought a Dobyns Kaden KD735CB for small topwaters and it's a great secondary SB rod, especially for the price. I've had great luck with Gary's Champion XP series and since he's local, that's where I spend my hard earned money!

Dobyns DC 705CB . Can throw squarebills, lipless, jerkbaits and makes a good chatterbait rod as well.

Lots of good choices for this bait. Don't overthink it. It doesn't need to be super sensitive. I would get one for small SB's and one for larger. I tend to throw the 7/8 oz 6th Sense 3.8 a lot so I use a little heavier rod. It doubles as my bladed jig rod.

If you throw mostly 1.5's and 2.5's go with a lighter action.

I use a Megabasd Levante Diablo Spec R for most squarebills. I use the Megabass Levante Jerkbait Special for flatsides and smaller squarebills.

I love my Powell 705 CB, it’s a medium heavy moderate fast action.

If you can find a Powell TW special squarebill rod you won’t be disappointed.
