Afghans are not tightly knit

We wasted a lot of money and too many lives of Americans and our allies for a bunch of 3rd world barbarians that want to live in their world.

If we want to protect oil we need to fortify the oil industry in the middle east and kill anyone that threatens it, but leave the natives to live their lives as they wish.

It’s not our place to push our agendas on others and obviously the majority of the people there want to live the barbarian life

I don't understand how the Taliban was able to take over so quickly when they don't even have any sensitivity or inclusivity training for their soldiers. It's mind-boggling.

the prez of afghanistan has left the country, I would hope that alone would be enough to stop any aid from flowing.

There will be mass murder of Afghan government officials, Afghan military, anyone the Taliban thinks may have cooperated, and basically anyone else those savages feel like raping and murdering. After all, it's what they do.

Liquor, strip clubs and brothels and other forms of release are all looked down upon. And too, all the hot Afghan chicks are wrapped up like mummies all the time. It’s no a mystery why they’re so pent up with rage.

Afghanistan has been in some sort of conflict forever. Just as it is commonplace for us to be taught to tie our shoes as kiddos, it is taught to those kiddos to hate Western Culture and everything it stands for and represents.

Right, wrong, or otherwise to truly establish a democracy and what Americans view as a "civilized nation" you have to start from scratch. America as a "leader" of the world, does not have the stomach nor backbone to make that happen in today's world. So, as has been predicted many times, it is going to turn back into the same situation as it was pre 9/11. The only winners in this whole situation, are the many warlords/tribal leaders that we enriched beyond belief with money and gifts.


In my uneducated opinion, this situation is a rough modern day example of how we fought the plains Indians, to achieve Manifest Destiny.
