So people often say that fish are bigger when alive and shrink after you kill and clean them. I caught a trout when I was back home that I swear was 13 inches. After being cleaned and in the fridge overnight I measured it and it was 12 inches. Has anyone ever bothered to measure them before and after to see if they actually do shrink? Dumb question I know, but it's Monday.

Did you weigh them before and after? I would assume they lose a lot of water after being filleted.

Happens when you put them in ice. I have noticed this when I get fish out of the cooler he next day to clean them

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

a 13" fish isn't going to lose one whole inch.

Same holds true on deer antlers.

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, โ€œI mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, thatโ€™s a storybook, man.โ€
