Yeah, well...that’s all on them, not you. Besides, there are lots of ways to get to/from somewhere with a sober driver when you’re smashed nowadays. My hunch is, they truly think you’re a good dude, enjoy your company and the sober driver thing is just some icing on the cake!

While there (at the concert), try your best to block out any obnoxiousness going on around you, the heat and whatnot, and just dial-in to the show. I’m telling you, those cats can play!

Thanks for all the responses and love, especially to those forum brothers who believe "I'm the tool" for not appreciated a ticket that was purchased for me by a good buddy who KNOWS I dislike this band, and only got me a ticket so I'll drive them home after they all get drunk.

Lol - nasty sounding name, but pretty good sounding band. Kind of a throwback rock and roll sound...you can hear lots of different influences in Dirty Honey music versus bands like Greta Van Fleet who straight up sound like Zeppelin.

BTW, their band name does the same thing as names like “Mike Weir” or “Mike Hunt”...with just a slightly different emphasis in pronouncing it, you can change “The Black Crowes”, to sound like “The Black Rose”.
