Dallas Morning News ArticleSilver carp noted for the first time in North Texas. Good article by Matt Williams. I saw it in today’s Bass Blaster by Jay Kumar.

Things were bad on Ross Barnett. They’d almost jump in the boat while you were running down the lake.

Choctaw creek is very close to Bois d 'arc creek. Not good at all.

Well, on the bright side there may be fewer jet skis and wake boats on the water 😂

Only good thing is they require a decent amount of current to reproduce. They have messed up KY and Barkley. People will occasionally snag or shoot a big one at Lake of the Ozarks, but not enough current for them to breed, not really an issue there. If stripers can reproduce, the carp probably can.
