"The Mosquito" is on the team now

I was at Wednesday and Thursday games. Both painful to watch. I wish they would bring Jung up so we had a look at a Raider 3rd baseman rather then a Mosquito…….. Had Lexus Club seats for Wednesday section 15. Food and booze made up for the bad play. Dugout Club section 9 for Thursday. Good seats again but even worse game.

You couldn't pay me to drive to Arlington, find parking, and watch this team.

To be honest, with their horrendous play as of late, I'm surprised the turnout is as good as it is. Prolly because folks wanna go do something, get out and all. IMO, the stadium is impressive but sitting through nine innings of Rangers baseball is a total beatdown. I can't even do it as much as I love the game....

If they were still in the open-air old stadium, the stands would be practically empty from now through the end of the season.

The next 5 series are going to be a huge beating. Every team they're going to be playing is either a current wildcard team or just a few games out. Those teams will be trying to gain some ground as opposed to the Rangers who are already in end-of-season get-the-prospects-some-field-time mode.
