I went out after buffalo and couldn’t keep the carp off the bait. I caught them on boilies, range cubes and flies. And to make matters worse, I was using small pound test, so it took a long time to get each fish in. I ended up with 17 carp between 5 and 15 pounds. All were released at the water’s edge. I did catch a waterbody record bluegill on a fly, so I guess the day wasn’t a total loss.

What a terrible problem to have... Sounds like you had a great time.

It was really tough. I couldn’t get more than 2 rods out before I got a bite.
