Gilbert played better than RG with virtually zero prep

We had a chance to pick up a quality QB in the draft, just saying...

Andy Dalton was the only salvation in their posse of backup QB's and they cut him loose. Good luck with what they have left. Did they pick up Cooper Rush again?

I agree with you but they pretty much sucked with him as well. He won 1 game and it was a gift. I really think Dak is going to be maybe great this year, he has all the weapons, no excuses, now hopefully the defense will improve, i think the D will be middle of the pack at worse.

8-8

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

If in fact he hasn’t torn something which is very possible trying to overcompensate for worrying about ankle I think it 100% comes down to o-line play. They have been terrible last couple years and although I think Dak is more than solid he can not compensate for an o-line that’s looks like Swiss cheese as they have last few years.

My glass is half full and I'm just kinda holding my breath. I know I talk a lotta sheet, but I am hopeful just like any other avid Cowboys fan. We've taken a beating over the years. There's gotta be a time when we will finally come out of it. Or is there? I just want my tickets to hurry up and sell before the season starts cause prices get cheaper once they settle in on the consistent L column. If we trade for Foles, we win the SOOOOPA no matter what happens. That's just what he do...nuts I do believe there will be a veteran QB picked up real soon. I can guarantee upper mgmt is worried, too.

Yes the o line was bad because of injury last year, I do not recall them being bad the previous year., I believe Dak threw for a lot of yards. It will come down to both front lines and a healthy QB.
