 Don’t you hate it when you lose a world record on an unforced error?

After completing my state record goals, I have been concentrating on line class world records. I hooked a big buffalo on 6-pound test and fought it for 30 minutes. I had the fish to the bank with my net in hand. I was so excited about the record that I thumbed the spool to lift the fish in the net. The small pop let me know that was a mistake. Six pound test line will not lift a 20 plus pound fish.  The fish slipped to the side of the net and slowly swam off. Another fish added to my “The one that got away” list. I feel for you, I truly do. But isn't that more of a "forced" error . .. like, "too much force on the reel" type thing? ah, I know, I shouldn't be kicking you when you're down. That's just mean  But I have faith that you'll soon get another record fish on that 6lb test and LAND it this time!
