I need to change my plan this month so I went to powertochoose.org WOW! Prices are now .092/kwh I haven't paid that for the house in Joshua in almost 15 years. This is nuts! I thought .072/kwh that I'm paying now was bad....geez.

Even if you do little intro 3 month deals, and sign up for ebills and autopay etc. But its all good, our power is incredibly reliable and the nearly the cheapest in the US. I heard a politician tell me that so it must be true. Queue rolling black out.

Get ready the gov has found a way to put millions of acres in west Texas and southeast Oklahoma off limits to drilling.

I got .085 in June for a one year deal. The 3 months were a little less but I was worried about an increase.

$10/month is a fixed cost. It might make sense for big users. I have always been able to beat their rates on my own. Glad I locked in a 3 year plan last year. On average Ogre would cost me $.008/kwh. I believe rates are up because natural gas is up. Plus rates are normally highest at this time of the year. If you want to see a high rate check out Rythem. I wonder how many people they sucker in with their TV ads.

So you're not on the Co-op out here? Ibwonder where the boundary for that is anyways? No...I'm on a co-op at the lake, but not here....it's a bit weird. My sister lives less than a mile away as the crow flies and is on the co-op...we're not. There's a little swath of land that's also on the co-op across the highway from her house...I wish we were on the co-op sometimes....our rates are usually cheaper than hers, but she didn't lose power during February.
