Can you even night fish there with the state park gate checking you in? They have pay envelopes but the sig says park closed at 10 which is confusing because there is camping.

It’s thick….so are the bugs. Don't like to use these types of terms but Fairfield had the worst biting bugs (in the day) I have run across.

yep, the famous BULL GNAT or Buffalo Gnat! Avon skin so soft oil was the best thing to use..
