I haven't started my own thread or new post before and don't see an option to start one except in this help section. I am registered and have replied to some posts before. Any help here would be appreciated. I am trying to start a new thread in the Classifieds.

You have to have 250 posts (I think) to be able to post in classifieds. Looks like the link to the rule for this is not working.

We require a minimum of 100 posts and 6 months as a contributing member to create and reply to threads in the classifieds (PM a moderator to request access), or you can bypass the 100 post minimum by purchasing a Supporting Membership to list items for sale in the classifieds (do not spam your way to 100 posts). You may purchase a Supporting Membership at http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbt...ps#Post9095219. After purchasing a Supporting Membership, we will upgrade your account. It generally takes a few hours, but may take up to 48. As soon as you see the blue box under your member name, you are approved to post in this section. If you SPAM your way to 100 posts, you are not eligible for the free membership.

I HAVE THIS PROBLEM ALSO. I know this question was posted in 2019, but when I sign - in (NOW) and drop down to classified, swap,trade I don't get the "post new thread" option.

While you had enough posts and time as a member, apparently you had not previously requested access to post a Classified ad. That has now been activated and you are good to go. Please read the rules for posting ads.

I just paid for my supporting membership. While I wait for that to go active, can I still post in the regular classified trading post portion? I thought that is what the "HOW to post a boat" post indicated things worked, but I could not find a way to create a post.

TLDFisherman, you may not start a thread in the Classifieds until your Supporting Membership is approved and processed. You may comment on open threads though, just like you could before.

Steve Hummert, does it matter if i buy the tff active member to post my boat for sale or do i need to purchase something else.
