Labor costs: don't have to pay worker's comp or health insurance, and non existent worker age, safety, or toxin/exposure/pollution regulations.
Non existent HR department
People will work hard, long hours for far less than our minimum wage without lengthy lunch breaks/personal days/vacation days for decades and never complain.

Labor and environmental comments above pretty well nail it.
Add to that lower taxes/duties, borrowed (stolen) technology, currency manipulation, and product dumping strategies.
China's model is complex but unfortunately successful.

People like paying less, watch comments on internet about items, always a bunch screaming it costs too much, well...... building things in this country is a pita, factories and anything really, labor is expensive and non existent lately. When you consider a company can partner with china, cause that's the nature of that deal, build a plant over there, ship the stuff back over here and do it for probably half the cost of doing it here we should be looking in the mirror and asking wth have we done to ourselves. Not blaming companies for doing it. Their job is to maximize profits.

Because democrats cheated Trump out of office before he could finish fixing it, and now biden just about has it all back to China to pay them for the virus they released on us.

Last week I looked at the back of my 4 year old sons toy cars, fish, dinosaurs, ships, and every single 1 is made in china. He has probably thousands of these accumulated since birth. Guess a few are made in Thailand too
