As a guide, today was one of those days that warms your heart. Today I had Derek and his son Trenton on The Catfish Cadillac. Today was all about Trenton and getting him excited about fishing. Derek is one of those Dad’s that really enjoys his kids and having them be a part of his hobby’s. He wanted Trenton to have a day spent catching instead of fishing. They weren’t really concerned about keeping many fish , but catching lots of them. They smoked a little over 100 catfish and kept a few for a fish fry. Trenton caught on quick and got better from there. We didn’t do any videos or lots of pics today because initially the trip was to be kept on the down-low. Trenton had big fish of the day and caught the most. Derek was one proud Dad today. My heart was full because I know Trenton’s day was everything his Dad wanted it to be. Thank you guys so much for going with me today. And thanks to Dillon for the referral. Sure hope to see you guys again! All fish caught on the best dang bait on the lake, Stubby’s Cheesebait !
