I have just moved to Lipan to be close to my grandkids. I’m going to be fishing Proctor for hybrids and sand bass. Any advice on for this lake would be appreciated. Also where on this lake to cast net for shad.

Shad are usually up shallow close to ramps early in the morning. Just look at your navionics. It’s fairly obvious where they’ll hang out, I typically find them in 1 of 3 spots.

Shad are very easy to find on Proctor. Just as G love says, look early, and last light. Look for Hybrids on north and west side of island, the many deeper rocky points on north side. Sand bass scattered everywhere, the long point separating the two arms is a great place to start. Its one of my favorite lakes.
If nothing else, troll rattle traps in 10 to 20' of water. Good luck
