That cone makes for some pretty crazy fishing lying on the boat. Interesting to watch.

I bet it’s fun. Not comfortable. Sight fishing for smallmouth is cool for someone living in Texas where water clarity is pretty low. We were catching them bed fishing on Mille Lacs in 10 ft. Also cool seeing a smallmouth come up from 15ft to hit a top water or a bunch following the one you have hooked.

I have a bunch of airline miles. Don’t know why I don’t have a smallmouth trip booked.

I mean “not fun” as in, laying on the deck of a boat while getting a neck crick and trying to move a rod around. I’m sure it’s fun doing it, if you’re a younger person.
