Just trying to get opinions on application and effectiveness for forward facing vs mega 360 for primarily fishing docks or shallow water (8 or less).

Is it worth it if this is what you primarily fish for bass?

If the fish are on the bottom neither is very effective at targeting specific fish in shallow water. If I'm just fishing down a random shallow bank with natural cover I usually have my livescope off. Personally I find the 360 very effective in shallow water. Mainly for identifying cover or structure that you cannot see. Many many times there are fish on that structure. As far as docks go, if the fish are suspended on poles or on brush you can absolutely target specific fish with livescope. I have a hard time seeing much up under docks with my 360. The shadow from the poles often times cover up any brush or isolated cover that is up under the docks. You will however find a ton of brush in front or around docks with the 360. The 360 and livescope work very well together. If I could only have one for fishing shallow water it would be my 360. For me I find livescope excels at brush pile fishing and catching suspended fish, especially if they are relating to dock poles, bridge columns, or timber.

I used mine to win a Media tournament, fishing docks. Very effective. I would pull up, pole down, and scan. See a fish, count the poles, skip a Senko, catch it…move in the the next dock. I had the tourney won after about 8-9 docks.

….hasn’t happened since. roflmao

Yeh. Cedar Creek. It’s ok. I get my [censored] handed to me more often than not. Danny Ramsey sees to it.
