Welcome to the forum.

Water is usually stained with about a foot of visibility.
This tends to keep the bass in less than 10fow, even this far into the summer.

Considering that you are fishing from a kayak, and it’ll still be windy, I’d throw a chartreuse 6-8foot diving mid depth crankbait and a chatterbait all day around rock, rip rap, and timber.

The lake is full, so I’d also pitch a black and blue confidence plastic in flooded brush.

To make your day easier in a kayak, choose a location with protection from the moderate south wind on Saturday. Lavon runs north-south and gets quite choppy with that kind of wind.

Don't be afraid to go shallow (2-4 feet).Tx. Rig a 10.5 inch worm with some red/plum in it and catch some decent numbers of small to moderate sized bass.
