Hopefully just a lone idiot with too much tequila..
I figure if it was a cartel incident there would have been much more involved than ramming with a netters boat.

Guys, this was 3 separate organized incidents in one day. They are trying to scare people out of Mexico so they can move people and product. Local thugs or cartel, it really doesn’t matter. Bottom line is this thread was started so that people can be aware and prepared because this is the first time Americans have been physically attacked on a lake that has been quite for years.

You can't have a firearm on you while in Mexican waters. Get caught with one over there and bad things can happen.
