We were there a few weeks back and were heading back to the ramp at dusk. Had a big catamaran come up and pass us like we were sitting still. The waves were 2’-3’ and these cats dropped the hammer on their rig and had to be moving 75+mph across the waves. I was thoroughly impressed, a bit jealous and figure that they had to be running drugs with a boat like that.

Did they care about your safety by watching where their wake went?

I was never skeptical, I was saying why come on a public forum and basically say, "something happened but I have no clue what, but I want to be the first to post it on TFF and I do not have any relevant info except I heard something happened"

Post when you have relevant information others can use if safety is truly a factor.
