Ive seen a few post on here about Guides giving kids a discount on area lakes(to try and get them hooked on Fishing).
WE have two kids(one that is 7 and one that is 13) that we would like to take on a guided Striper trip. It would be me and my dad as well.
It would be the week after July 7th. My step son loves the lake but his dad never took him fishing when he was young so I am having a tough time getting him on the lake and wetting a line. He likes to just drive around the lake and waste gas. smile
Let me know if you know of any guides at Texoma that would do that.
Thanks

Contact JD Lyle. He's one of, if not the best, guide on the lake.

If your gonna call a guide at least do yourself a favor and call one that fishes full time..there are so many people who call themselves guides that fish.. hardly ever. They have fancy websites and tell ya things ya wanna hear... do your homework..and dont be fooled by website BS.

Check out my pricing on my website.. I fish kids under 12 free. one with each paying adult.
I dont have any openings that week but I cant least set you up with a quality "real" guide...
oh wait.. just had a reschedule as I write.... so now i have monday the 9th open

I would highly recomend J D Lyle. I see JD out fishing about everytime I am fishing and he always seems to be doing at least as well as the other top guides on the lake. I also fish kids under 12 free and have Monday and Tuesday of that week open. I promise you no one on the lake will work harder to ensure you a sucsessfull trip. As far being a full time guide like JD is talking about, everyone has to start somewhere. Just because one isnt a full time guide does NOT mean that they cant get you on the fish just like a full time one can. As a matter of fact, someone trying to get a business off the ground may just work harder than someone with a large client base. Just something to think about. Thanks for the reccomendation Coach.
If I cant help you, there are two links on my website to guys that fish full-time.Wallhanger guide service (Capt Quinc Pearcy) and Marc Thompson's guide service. I have fished with these guys for years and in my opinion they are the absolute best full-time guys on the lake.

I recently went out with JD with some family members...had a great timeJD put us on a lot of fish..JD is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I read all the post about JD and quite frankly was a little skeptical. After the trip, I can join the rest of the crowd on the TFF and highly recommend JD. In fact I was so impressed that I have several more trips lined up.
