I've got both of those Schrades, but use(d) them both. The Eagle has a broken tip from trying to break a deer pelvis. I carry the bass one in my pocket.
Please don't tell me both are worth alot, if they'd been kept in the box! blush

Yea!!! That schrade fixed blade is nice. I have turned my attention to hand made knives. Best working knife I have found is a Dozier out of Ark.William Henry makes a nice knife. Most of theirs are fancy high dollar, but they do have some nice woking knives. Randell makes nice knives, but can't beat a Dozier.
Wiggins do you have any handmade?

wig, those look really nice. I don't collect, but about 15 years ago I was on a back country fishing trip near Yosemite. 2 days into the hike, I walked off the trail down into the woods for a pitt stop. I went to hang my pack on a tree limb, and found this stuck into the tree. What is unusual about it, whoever made it, made finger grips on the handle for holding in the left hand. Never seen one like it before.

Slim Jim, I know what you are saying. But when you hold it in your left hand, the finger grooves cut into the handle, fit perfect. It does not fit in the right hand, finger grooves are on the opp. side. Wish I knew more about it.
