Hi there, Viet Carper here.
It’s been awhile that I post anything on this site. This time, I would like to ask for you thoughts and feedback of where is a good spot on Trinity River (or anywhere) that I can fish for Gar?

Catching an Alligator Gar has always be an item in my bucket list.

Thank you very much for sharing.

Regards,
Viet Carper

There were several guides that targeted Alligator Gar who posted regularly here. I have not seen a gar post in awhile. You might try to use google to help locate some nice gar spots. thumb Hopefully someone will reply to your post. cheers

Side Note: I sure miss your post. Always loved seeing your catches on the LBL! hooked

Unfortunately I don't know the best places to find giants other than below Lake Livingston. If it's any old Alligator Gar you're after I've got a couple spots I've caught them at, just shoot me a PM if you're interested!
