Hi there, Viet Carper here.
It’s been awhile that I post anything on this site. This time, I would like to ask for you thoughts and feedback of where is a good spot on Trinity River (or anywhere) that I can fish for Gar?
Catching an Alligator Gar has always be an item in my bucket list.

There were several guides that targeted Alligator Gar who posted regularly here. I have not seen a gar post in awhile. You might try to use google to help locate some nice gar spots.  Hopefully someone will reply to your post.  Side Note: I sure miss your post. Always loved seeing your catches on the LBL!

No alligator gar but Hugo Lake in Oklahoma is infested with longnose gar

Again not sure about Gator gar but I have caught several on lake Grapevine in the last few weeks while catfishing.
If you want details, if that is a Lake you might want to fish you can PM me I will tell you were exactly ... *cant be giving all my best catfishing spots lol

Unfortunately I don't know the best places to find giants other than below Lake Livingston. If it's any old Alligator Gar you're after I've got a couple spots I've caught them at, just shoot me a PM if you're interested!

I won't post location info publicly but there are now Alligator Gar more north than there has been in probably decades.
