There still around. Caught PK shad. Just before the Holiday weekend. Bait easy and the fishing is good. Bait is about to get real easy. Gizzards spawned and there are tons of 2-3 inch shad. I saw some huge balls of newly spawned shad at the Gaines Bend condo Courtesy dock. That said, I fished with small perch last week, as those small shad are too fragile. Limited out in about 30 minutes on a green light. I'd drop a bait to the bottom and have a striper or big sandie by the time I reeled up the slack. All the stripers I caught were under 19 inches. Big un's are hard to come by. I wonder how many went over the flood gates in the last flood?

I wonder how many went over the flood gates in the last flood? 1,297,316 went over the dam, I sat there and counted them so nobody would have to wonder.  And those are some nice pescados Randy
