Got to fish a few hours Saturday afternoon on Coleto. Heard TPW realized they messed up when they killed all the grass back in 2014 and will be reintroducing native grasses back in soon. You can see the deoxygenated dead zone from 18-20 feet on down on sonar.
Did manage 3 bass and one huge crappie in the limited time I had. Water temps were ranging between 93-96 degrees. All fish were on the lipless in the pics running it at about 12-14 ft deep on quick drop creek channels.
