We have been to Pinkston only once a few years ago. We used the "ramp" at the dam. It was primitive to say the least. Has anyone used the (supposed) one on the east side called Sandy creek? Is it any better?

Went there today. The boat launch over at Sandy Creek is only better if you consider that you don't have to drive on as much clay road.

Went there today. The boat launch over at Sandy Creek is only better if you consider that you don't have to drive on as much clay road. I had only heard that one was "bad" and the other was "worse"  Since we haven't had any rain lately then maybe they were not so bad.
