All this grilling and smoking going on this weekend, and with the plethora of meat rubs out there, has anybody ever tried a coffee rub? Been reading about those, seems kind of interesting.

Tomorrow will be just an easy cook with ribs, burgers, spiced corn, poppers and so on. Going to be a good eat and then blowing some stuff up. 'Murica! flag

I have this one and it is really good. I haven’t used it on steak but have on other cuts of beef and liked it.

Oh, good. I thought this thread might have been...well different but forget that. I do not have a sick mind!

old Town Meat Market in FM has a GREAT brisket rub. Have not tried any others. My buddy swears by it so I tried it. Best I have found.

Holy cow is legit on anything beef. Its all you need on beef ribs and brisket!

I've mixed coffee into rubs for thick cut pork chops that turned out great. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

I had this package of real fine almost a powder coffee that was from New Mexico that worked great for it.
